Description

This is a great all around design for a utility/hunting knife. It is small enough for daily wear and large enough to do most anything you need a knife for! The design is a drop-point blade that is normally between 2 1/2″ to 3 1/4″ long. There is a 1/4″ brass lanyard hole at the back of the knife, for those times when the knife may get slippery.

I make these knives out of either 1084 or W1 high carbon steel. There are several different finishes possible on this knife. I usually use a dark wood for the handle material and it can either be smooth or ticked. My favorite finish is the black oxide finish that leaves the blade an almost black color that helps to stop corrosion. I can also do it with a natural brushed or polished finish.

The image is of a knife that I made in 2019 that has been in use since them. The scales on this one are Bolivian Rosewood. It has the black finish and stays on my belt whenever I am outdoors or hunting. It has skinned many deer and done many other tasks.
