Description
Beautiful semi-closed form bowl made from Apple. The bowl is about 6-7″ tall and the same around. It fits perfectly in an all natural piece of driftwood that I picked up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in Gulfport before Katrina decimated the city.
The apple wood comes from an apple tree at my Mom’s mountain house in Lake Junaluska, NC. This was one large fork off of the tree that was damaged in a storm and had to be removed. It lives on in this bowl. The Driftwood was picked up on the beach in about 2003 and moveed around the state with me and my wife until finally finding it’s place under this bowl.
This bowl is featured in the Gallery at the Craftsmen’s Guild of MS in Ridgeland, MS and may take several days to ship.
